Principal eyes religious education

Highlands

LOWER Nebilyer Provincial High School in Western Highlands will introduce Christian religion education is one of the lessons for students to guide them with Godly principles.
The school launched the programme on Friday after realising that change would come to people’s minds when they feared God and knew the Christian values, which could guide them.
School principal Nickson Miti said education without God would never do any good to a person, but when a person was taught the importance of Christianity, he or she could define the meaning of what’s good and evil.
Miti said when people have God’s fear in them, they would put to use what they learnt and live a decent life.
“We realise that God has the medicine to cure a drug addict, criminal, thief or a bad person when laws cannot get through to the bottom to change a person,” Miti said.
