FORTY casual workers from the Government Printing Office were presented certificates and inducted as public servants at the Holiday Inn yesterday.

Printer Ken Kaiah said the certificates were presented to the inductees for their participation in the public service induction workshop conducted last year where they were taught the public service general orders and public finance act.

Kaiah said: “The induction training the inductees went through was not just mere training but for them to know their place and function in the public service”.

He said they could receive all government privileges that they were denied as casuals.

Deputy secretary corporate support services for the Department of Prime Minister and National Executive Council Arai Pula presented the induction certificates on behalf of the Chief Secretary to Government Sir Manasupe Zurenuoc.
