Probe K20mil meant for Ialibu-Kagua road
The National, Thursday 21st March, 2013
I CALL on the Task Force Sweep team led by Sam Koim to investigate the whereabouts of K20 million allocated for the Ialibu and Kagua-Erave road rehabilitation.
The government has been preaching about transparency.
I am beginning to question the government as there is evidence that the roads have deteriorated from bad to worse and everybody is turning a blind eye on this, even the national and provincial governments and the local MPs.
Has the money gone to the companies of cronies or has it really been wisely spent on road rehabilitation?
If so, we need the responsible authorities to lead by example and show us the acquittal in the media.
Otherwise, these people should also be investigated just like anyone else and have the money refunded.
Over to you, Koim.
