THE new church wokman sapot project for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chimbu is focused on rebuilding church infrastructure.

The project also aimed to support pastors in remote areas by providing them decent accommodation.

Project coordinator Jackson Kamun said one of the two main priorities was to set up a brick making facility in Kundiawa.

The bricks will be used to rebuild old church buildings and pastors’ houses in Chimbu district.

He said they also planned to build a dormitory for pastors and other church workers at Ega church to use when they come to town.

Kamun said the other project was to set up a stationery shop.

The shop has been opened but is yet to source assistance to collect Christian literature materials and stationery items.

People who wish to help can contact Kamun on telephone 7163 4196 or can make direct deposit to the project account at BSP Kundiawa branch account number 1009 955947 (church wokman sapot project).
