Projects boom boost crime

BOOMING industries, major impact projects and other developments in Morobe have contributed to an increase in petty crimes in Lae, Menyamya district law and order chairman Mark Wisimba says.
He said something needed to be done about petty crimes. “Pick pocketing and stealing are some of the many incidents that affect the people in Lae when doing their businesses,” he said.
