Protect assets: Official

MEMBERS of National Superannuation Fund and the general public should have a will to protect their assets for their rightful beneficiaries, says chief executive officer Ian Tarutia.
Tarutia said Nasfund, in its ongoing commitment to membership service has a Will Kit which was a legal document.
“I know sometimes because of our customs, we do not want to talk about it,” he said.
“We say that it’s because it is a curse.”
But it does cause issues for the families left behind.
“Some of our highly educated, distinguished individuals didn’t have this and their families are struggling.”
