Protect our girls

A 14-YEAR-OLD primary school student in Normad, Western, was forced to marry an elderly man.
Why are our leaders not making the right decisions to protect our women and children in a beautiful Christian nation such as Papua New Guinea?
Are they only in power for the money?
Perhaps for some, forcing an underage girl to marry may seem normal.
But that doesn’t sit right with me.
I am interested to know what our leaders think of this.
