As an Eastern Highlander, I would like to air my view on the current impasse within EHP Provincial Administration. The court battle between two parties concern has taken too long and the service delivery to the people has been greatly affected since the impasse begun, when public servants taking sides. The innocent grassroots people of Eastern Highlands falls the victims of the impasse at the provincial level by our leaders. Therefore, I am calling on Prime Minister Peter O’Neill as the chairman of NEC – the appointing authority – to step in and solve the problem once and for all. Hence, service delivery will be restored with the appointment of the permanent PA by the appointing authority.
