Pruaitch not overly concerned about students
The National, Friday March 7th, 2014
I WOULD like to express my disappointment on behalf of parents from Aitape-Lumi.
It is a disgrace that our MP Patrick Pruaitch (and other Sandaun MPs) are not thinking about assisting Sandaun students who attend tertiary institutions.
The Aitape-Lumi MP, after being elected for the third consecutive term, seems very quiet on issues affecting the electorate.
What are his priorities, in terms of developing human resources?
Other MPs are assisting their students, but for Aitape-Lumi, there is no mention or evidence of our MP swearing, planning or budgeting to pay for his students’ fees.
If he cannot pay directly, perhaps create a funding source for parents.
Please Pruaitch, we beg you to do the needful as expected of you as MP.
