Prudent management

DESPITE all the mining, PNG does not prosper or enjoy the benefits. Every day, we see media headlines about millions of kina missing. Do we have a prudent financial management in place? Who are those facilitating these activities? Are they grassroots or university graduates? The reason I went to university was to achieve skills and qualifications to earn a good living and future for my family. Such qualifications are not for stealing money. We should be ashamed of ourselves for mismanaging our own resources and begging outsiders for money. Let us prove that we have the ability and capacity to manage huge funds to service our people first. Let us save some for the future instead of rushing to harvest all, allowing legalised thefts to occur.
