BRADWING Publishing Company last week donated books worth  K15,000 to Carr Memorial Seventh Day Adventist School in Port Moresby.

The book donation was the first of any kind the school has received.

The books, ranging from reader one-two, are written by teachers all over Papua New Guinea and are for Grades 3-8 and will be used as teaching aid for students.

Managing director Fegsley Risapi said the company donated K80,000 to the church and school.

Risapi said, as a former teacher, he understood the need for students to read and have adequate reading materials.

“As it is a year of implementation, we, as a local company, are trying to provide better services,” he said.
