Pukpuks final 12 fly out

 THE InterOil Pukpuks have named the final 12 men who will be participating in the HSBC Hong Kong Sevens tournament this weekend.

The team left Port Moresby yesterday at 3pm. 

In a press conference at the InterOil head office at Ravalien Haus, Harbour City, incumbent Pukpuk sevens captain Henry Kalua introduced the team to the media.

Present at the press conference was InterOil’s executive vice-president Thomas Nador, who restated the company’s support for the Pukpuk sevens team.

“Sport has the ability to energise, to motivate and to mobilise millions of people around the world,” Nador said.

“We are proud to be associated with them representing Papua New Guinea at the Hong Kong Sevens.”

Papua New Guinea Rugby Football Union general manager Frank Genia thanked InterOil for their continued support of the sevens programme.

“On behalf of PNG Rugby Union, we’d like to express our sincere thanks to InterOil for their continued support towards the development of sevens in the country.” PNG Pukpuks Sevens: Arthur Clement, Emmanual Guise, George Morseu, Henry Kalua (c), Hensley Peter, Karo Kauna, Koroseta Veni, Lawrence Kuso Jr, Paul Nelson, Tisa Kautu, Wesley Vali, William Tirang.
