Punish task force officers

Letters

I WISH to air my views on the recent rampage at the Parliament House by so-called “disciplined forces” due to their delayed allowances.
Before we start pointing fingers at the officers who vented their frustrations on the sacred Parliament, which is the highest law-enacting institution in the land, there are two sides to the coin.
Instead of blaming officers concerned, authorities should thoroughly investigate officers who are entrusted to process these allowances.
If there is negligence on their part, they should also be blamed for the destruction caused and penalised accordingly with the disciplined officers who rampaged through Parliament.
Prosecute and have the officers concerned rot in prison.
They truly do not deserve to serve the country in the so-called “disciplined forces” whether it be Police, Defence Force or Correctional Service.
It is also annoying and abnormal for most of our political leaders to keep silent on this issue.
I wonder whose interest they represent.
Over to you now.
We await to hear outcome of what penalties will be dished out to the perpetrators of this atrocities.
