Put your foot on the ground

SOME politicians aspire to fame and want to be on the spotlight for stupid reasons.
With giant egos, they boast by putting up colourful billboards in glorifying themselves – saying they built stadiums, roads, bridges, hospitals, etc.
It is contradicting the real picture behind the scenes.
Those developments do not come from the very works of their hands or minds – not even under their own expenses; but by taxpayers, aid or donor agencies.
If it was their initiative for such developments, they should swallow their pride and be humble.
It is actually the back room boys such as architects, engineers, surveyors, etc whose work do not receive public attention but make an important contribution to infrastructural developments, innovations and achievements.
Thumbs up to them who slip back under the radar.
