Put your hope in God’s hands

Letters

YOU will not always be happy with your results.
Sometimes you will be very disappointed with the outcome of your work.
Whether you are working or a student, the same applies.
However, do you ever question why you are still breathing when you hit the low point of your life?
I do.
Sometimes I feel the ends do not meet or the future seems bleak and that is why I lose hope along life’s well-worn path.
But if you take a closer look at why you are still breathing, you will realise that it is God who is sustaining your life despite the pain, challenges, failures and difficulties you have go through.
The only one who sees the future is God.
God knows you and me and the future. This should give us the reason to be positive despite the pain life gives us.
Pain is temporary.
It may last for a minute, for a day, or even for a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place.
But if you quit, it will last forever.
So don’t let the negative mindset overcome your life.
Don’t think you are not good enough or you are permanently a failure. You are not.
Find hope in God.
Always think positively.
Even if your life turns from bad to worse, or even if people criticise you, always have hope of a better ending.
Never forget that our Lord Jesus was criticised and hanged on the cross and people celebrated over his death.
However, he rose again and therefore, we should have hope in Him.
Even if you are down in life, God will one day raise you up to do great things.
Put your trust in God and always stay positive.
