TICKETS for Saturday’s Intrust Super Cup round-18 ‘Country Week’ clash between SP Hunters and Easts Tigers in Wabag go on sale today.
Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League chief executive Reatau Rau said the tickets would be on sale from 12pm at Lupa Finance, Ipatas Centre, Leme Service Station (Sakales) and Ima Chen Trading (Sakales) in Wabag and Jacks in Mt Hagen. He said the tickets would go for K20 per person (young and old) for all outer stands and grassed areas, and K100 limited tickets for the grandstand.
“Every person that enters the ground, whether a child or adult, must purchase a ticket,” he said. “There is no separate price for children.”
He said there were security features on the tickets to prevent counterfeiting and abuse.
“The tickets will be scanned on entry so there is no way for cheating,” he said.
He urged the public to buy tickets early as there would be no sales at the ground on game day.
Rau said the ‘Country Week’ concept by the Queensland Rugby League was to play the Intrust Super Cup games in rural areas.
