Questions PRL board must answer before AGM

Letters, Normal

AFTER reading about the change in the PNGRFL board, it reminds me of the management of Port Moresby rugby league too.
In my opinion, it has not been doing a good job.
The current PRL board is clearly making money but since its term has expired, we are waiting for the AGM to be conducted.
Before that, I want to remind all club presidents to seriously consider the following:
1. How come no financial reports have been presented in the last two years?
2. Where have all the money from the hire of the venue by NSL, rugby union, touch and Intercity Cup gone to?
3. Who is making money from the two bars? Is it the league or the 11 clubs?
4. Or have they been leased out? and
5. Who is doing the maintenance work?
Please answer these questions before we elect a new board.
We need to have people who can manage the league and its assets transparently and honestly for the good of the code – Concerned president Port Moresby
