Radio station launches inaugural teen awards

Tribe FM has launched its inaugural Teen Excellence Awards.
Nominations are now open for teenagers across Papua New Guinea  between the ages of 13 and 19 who have demonstrated personal growth, leadership and a commitment to the community they live in.
The seven award categories are: health and welfare; music and arts; sports; community, education; business and innovation; and disability.
Entries will be made through forms published in the daily newspapers and any additional information on nominees made separately.
Nominations are to be mailed to Tribe FM, NBC, PO Box 1359, Boroko, National Capital District, or dropped at provincial NBC offices.
Nominations can also be posted to the Tribe FM Facebook page or to Whatsapp number 70199105.
Individual PNG resident youths, groups or teams can be nominated. Nominations close on July 22, at 5pm.
