Kokopo with Agmark Gurias prospects in Danny Patrick, Mathew Puke, Bradley Simon and Emmanuel John added that extra muscle to be too strong for early favourites Pomio.
The Plate final was won by Academy over Gazelle. The Academy outfit is made up of selected schoolboys that are under the Agmark Gurias junior programme.
Academy star player and Kokopo Secondary student Depra Nuken was awarded the player of the tournament for his efforts.
Hoskins with several rugby union players also caught the eye of Guria’s scouts with former PNG Mosquito and Pukpuk train-on squad member Ezra Kautu and Kimbe Rebels Timothy Pola featuring to win the Bowl over Buka.
