THE Port Moresby Lau Rangers are in Wabag for the Ipatas Cup’s Enga Challenge tomorrow.
Club president Jack Kari and coach Leo Lyon are confident their side can win the leg.
The Hohola Off-Season team prepared well and was looking forward to stealing the show from the home sides. This is the second time the Rangers have competed in the Enga leg.
Kari said this was a great opportunity for the youth from the nation’s capital to show case their talents in the highland cauldron.
Kari said the players also know that good performances could land them  spots in Digicel Cup sides who will have their scouts out for the challenge.
The  Enga Mioks, Mount Hagen Eagles, Simbu Lions, Hela Wigmen, Goroka Lahanis, Mendi Muruks and Lae Tigers would all have recruiters present in Wabag.
Hohola Off-Season League president Gairo Gavu said the Rangers wanted to prove they belonged to this level of competition.
Gavu said the team was made up of youths from Enga and were no strangers to the highlands style of football.
