PAPUAN Compound-based Ravens have been boosted with merchandise from soft drink manufacturer Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA).
The back-to-back Sports Tok Sevens champions are preparing for their title defence in the rugby union tournament which will be held at Bava Park in Port Moresby from April 3-4.
CCA marketing activation manager Julie Asa Fale told The National that the company was happy to assist the team.
“As soon as they get to Port Moresby, our (CCA) team will be there to assist them further with the tents, portable coolers, drinks and ice,” she said.
“Moving on, any Lae tournament in which the team compete, we are here to support them in any way we can, but in kind.”
Club supporter Avea Hiarua acknowledged CCA for the support.
“It doesn’t matter whether it’s cash or in kind, we still appreciate the sponsorship,” he said.
“The players will definitely need the merchandise to dress and look smart, and it will boost their morale.
“We appreciate the support and we’ll do our best for a trifecta, something that we would like to do.
“With CCA’s support, we will be doing our best as we look to retain the title.”
