REIGNING Digicel Cup champions Bintangor Goroka Lahanis will host to Enga Mioks in Goroka when the semi-professional rugby league competition kicks off this Sunday.
A new-look Lahanis will be led by  Kumul Thompson Teteh.
Franchise owner Simon Sia has challenged his team to win all home games this season.
Their opening round opponents are the sponsorless Enga Mioks.
The match will be played at the National Sports Institute (NSI) grounds.
The Lahanis have blooded players from the Goroka off-season competition and Sunday will see several make their debuts.
Lahanis debutants are Damien Bage, Janis Aitapo, Danny Holle, Abraham Guri, Nathan Millie, Sonny Billy, Cedric Singip, Robin Soga, Felix Tatsim and Solomon Joseph.
Teteh takes over from England-bound Glen Nami who led the Lahanis to two back-to-back premierships.
The centre has big boots to fill but coach Peter Danga is renowned for getting the best out of his players and will rely on his experienced hands to assist Teteh.
Established Lahanis expected to feature in the matchday 17 are Adex Wera, Nicko Ubile, Casey Frank, Gonzella Urakusie, Minaho Goso, Joseph Peter, Spiro Mikaive, Yapa Kapu, Noel Zeming, Joseph Arme, Wesley Mohokule and Lawrence Kuso Jr  who is back in Goroka after several years in Port Moresby.
Meanwhile, the Mioks, who lost long-time sponsor Ela Motors through their Toyota  brand in the off-season, will still be boosted after a successful Ipatas Cup off-season challenge.
It is understood Mioks coach Timothy Lepa has banked on several Ipatas Cup players and is expected to instill the same rugged and abrasive style of football that has characterised past Engan teams.
Seldom intimidated and always willing to take on sides up the middle third, the Mioks pose a threat because of their “no fear” attitude.
Led by Kumul backrower David Loko and featuring old hands Peter Peyala and Junior Balkawa in the backline  the team from up the Highlands highway is expected to give the defending premiers a rough ride.
