THE choices we make at the polls carry a lot of weight and will impact the masses over the next five years.
In some districts, the quality of life, progress and even matters of life and death hinge on our choices.
Voting is a true measure of power with just the flick of your wrist.
For the sake of our nation, I  hope we get some righteous leaders into Waigani who can serve the interest of the people and properly debate issues.
Do not be disheartened by the endemic known as corruption that has prevented progress.
It may seem like an insurmountable task but it is not impossible.
As the ancient Chinese proverb goes: “Moving a mountain starts with a single pebble”.
