Rebellious servants to be disciplined

 REBELLIOUS public servants in the Eastern Highlands provincial administration will be disciplined under the new Public Services Management Act, according to Governor Julie Soso.

She said the new act gives greater powers to provincial governors to take disciplinary actions against public servants, including provincial administrators as stipulated under section 61, 62 and 63 of the Public Services Management Act  (Employment of Provincial Administrators Regulations 2014).

“Public Servants who do not abide by the Public Services General Orders by taking sides in the impasse causing disorders in Eastern Highlands will face appropriate disciplinary charges,” Soso said.
