Rebels bag Steamies title

 THE Rebels are the new champions of the Steamships softball challenge over the weekend at the Bisini Diamonds in Port Moresby. 

They defeated favourites and last year’s winners East West Transport Gold to claim the managing director’s trophy. 

ETWG came in second place while Steamships Shipping claiming third place and Consort Express Lines settled in at fourth.

Sixteen teams played in the one-day tournament. 

The teamsfrom within the Steamships group included Datec PNG, Laga Industries, East West Transport, Coral Sea Hotel, Steamships Shipping, Pacific Palms Property, Steamships head office, Swire Shipping, Consort Express Lines and Port Services Ltd.
