Rebels look to add Mermaids to list of scalps

MERMAIDS take on Rebels in round five of the Port Moresby Netball Association premier division, at the Rita Flynn courts tomorrow.
The clash pits sides littered with experience including current and former national representatives.
Rebels have the likes of Samoan Sopo Alsop and former Pepes captain under the hoop Lua Rikis.
In the midcourt are former Pepes Winnie Mavara while on defence they have former Pepes Susan Wellington and current Pepes Serena Ovio.
The Mermaids have their own fire power in Pepes sharp shooters Rayleen Andrew and Japerth Tulapi while fellow Pepe Tau Galewa is set to marshall her side’s defence.
Rebels scored a significant win last week ending Telstars’ unbeaten run and would have gained confidence from that to face another young and determined side.
