Rebels, Paramana face-off in prelim

THE preliminary finals of the Port Moresby netball premier competition will see the replay of last year’s grand final between champions City Pharmacy Rebels and Paramana tomorrow.
Rebels with Winnie Mavara plus her sister Lua Mavara-Rikis and their young charges will be up against the Raula sisters of Paramana.
The game should be interesting to watch as PNG Pepe’s captain Lua Rikis wants to keep her position as top shooter while Geua Raula will be fighting to dethrone her during the preliminary finals.
Both teams have been playing some good netball but the team will less mistakes will win the game.
Under former PNG representative coach Annie Iamo, the girls from Aroma Coast will be out to make an amends of  their loss last year’s grand final.
In the First Division preliminary final, Raukele will take on Paramana while Oro Birdwings will have too much power over Mona1 in the Division.
Paramana will take on Matariki in Division Three preliminary finals.
