Recent political impass helping Govt

Letters

THE mainstream and social media have shaken the Government under Prime Minister James Marape to push for good governance and accountability.
It was all hanging in the balance until the Opposition shook everything.
Now till 2022, the Marape government has to translate all recent loan financing into sustainable public investment or it will have a very difficult task to convince voters who may want to see real tangible services reaching them.
There are not enough classrooms, staff housing and positions to accommodate and teach younger generations of Papua New Guineans.
That fundamental right to education and basic literacy/numeracy skills is now compromised in the misapplication of resources and lack of infrastructure project delivery.
