PARENTS have been urged to send their children to registered institutions which are in compliance with Government’s rules and regulations.
Chairman of Mapex Training Institute Mt Hagen campus, Joseph Paraka, said people should be wary of the many schools and institutions popping up everywhere.
He advised parents to be careful of where they spend their money and send their children to.
Paraka said the institute was registered and provided the training children needed.
“These are the kind of institutions you need to send your children to because currently, we are having so many private-run schools and institutions in the country,” he said.
“Some are (registered) while others are not, pretending that everything will be alright and then it turns out the different way.”
Paraka warned that some private schools were not recognised by the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology.
