Release all powers to B’ville

I NOTE with interest the consultative meeting between Bougainville and PNG leaders last week.
It is understood that the Prime Minister James Marape has agreed to transfer all powers to Bougainville while retaining Foreign Affairs, Defense and Currency.
This won’t solve any problem.
The solution to the problem is to let go of the power of Foreign Affairs to Bougainville if we want permanent peace on Bougainville.
Bougainvilleans are not interested in 20 or 30 powers being transferred to Bougainville by the PNG Government.
They are interested with only one power to be transferred and that power is Foreign Affairs.
The transfer of Foreign Affairs to Bougainville is the solution.
