Release funds for EHP people

IT is understandable that Covid-19 has caused havoc to people’s lives and the economy.
However, the “niupla pasin” has brought back people to their right state of mind to start practising safety measures to curb the spread of the virus.
The new way is here but the Eastern Highlands government is not waking up to reality.
It may have lost its sense of responsibility during the lockdown period.
There are huge numbers of project proposals, small to medium enterprise (SME) submissions, requests for financial assistance and other requests since 2018.
Promises made have been prolonged and delayed for too long.
Why is this so?
We received stories that there rival factions within the provincial government, which resulted in people being affected.
The people’s funds should be given to them if they meet all the requirements.
Why is the Eastern Highlands playing politics over people’s funds?
I call on the Eastern Highlands administration to publish all the lists and start making payments.
Is this another stunt to ensure public funds find a way back to you?
Such practices will never help to develop the province.
