PORT Moresby City is now cleaner than in the past.

Thank you Governor Powes Parkop and Moresby South MPJustin Tkatchenko for the upkeep of the city.

However, I want to know where did the two leaders learn about city beautification and road hazards.

Everyone must be thinking that planting flowers and trees in the middle of small roundabouts in Port Moresby is part of their beautification programme.

No, this is something different. It is a hazard that is exposing road users to uncalculated risks by blocking off the sight of the drivers to see and avoid collision with oncoming traffic.  Given that Port Moresby has an increasing road toll, proper hazard identification studies should be conducted and all traffic hazards removed.
