Replace OBE with a better curriculum

I would like to comment on the education reform programme which brought in the OBE.
Many developed countries are now doing away with OBE because it did not work out for them.
Why is it taking PNG so long to review OBE and come up with something better?
Why are the authorities so protective?
The Department of Education lacks resources to support schools and teachers at the level it was intended for by those who dreamed up this grand plan.
PNG needs more educated people and the only way to do so is to do away with OBE and focus on the four main subjects in schools – science, mathematics, English and social science.
Times are changing and this country needs to focus more on technological advancement.
