Report clarified

The National Letters

THIS is a clarification of a report in The National last Wednesday (April 18) titled, ‘Pastor flees, villagers arrested after marijuana found’.
As concerned communities and congregation for Oneness Pentecostal Church of Watabung in Daulo District, Eastern Highlands, we want to make it clear that Mathew Koima is a former pastor.
He resigned as a pastor of our church in 2013.
He has since been involved in subsistent farming.
He owns almost six hectares of farmland with four youths engaged as helpers.
