WE have gone into counting for some areas while polling is still on in others.
So far, people have complained for their names not on common rolls.
Many eligible voters have missed out on voting, including myself.
The government is the one to be blamed for and not the Electoral Commission.
Electoral Commissioner Simon Sinai admitted that the delay was because of funds not made available on time.
Foreign media correspondents are also present in the country to report on election matters.
Also, international freelance writers are more interested to write about election progress and updates.
Over the years, foreign media and correspondents have published bad stories of not only PNG’s election, but sorcery, violence against women, crime and corruption.
Don’t try to report bad stories of Papua New Guinea’s election.
We are a democratic state with educated population who are in 2022 and not the 1980s.
Please report fairly.
