Report of casino hotel misleading court

AS a former construction employee working on the structure  of the controversial casino hotel, I am confused how the National Capital District Commission legal counsel with no building and structural engineering knowledge has seen fit to mislead the court with half-backed information that the building is structurally unsafe and a threat to the public.

As an experienced high rise builder, this casino hotel is the strongest high rise compared with others built so far.

It is built with solid steel and concrete with deep slabs.

The Mineral Resources Development Company commissioned report tabled   by   the  NCDC  counsel is biased and self-serving and needs independent  reports  from  certified structural engineers before anyone can condemn the building.

The other point the NCDC legal counsel misled   the  court  in  was  the  fact that Port Moresby is not  in  the Pacific  ring of fire to be alarmed about earthquake threats but this building  can  stand  a magnitude 7.
