Report positive, media told

WEST New Britain Governor Sasindran Muthuvel has urged the media to give more prominence to positive development stories.
Muthuvel said many negative things were happening because they were given more prominence in the media daily.
He said the media in Israel, a country faced with violence on a daily basis, gave prominence to positive developments.
Newspaper front pages and the headlines give prominence to agriculture and other positive developments, he said.
“By focusing on the good and positive things, we can attract those good things to us,” he said.
“We focus on what we want, not on what we do not want.”
He presented a vehicle each to NBC West New Britain and to the division of planning in the provincial administration using K100,000 from the provincial support improvement programme.
Provincial director Anton Dede thanked Muthuvel for the vehicle.
