Reports denied

 East Sepik secondary schools inspector Damien Sam has refuted recent media reports of a school fight between Bishop Leo and Brandi Secondary schools in the province.

“If there has been a fight, I would be the first person to know. 

“There are no school fights in East Sepik,” he said.

“We had the interschool carnival at Kaindi Teachers College last week which ended peacefully on Friday with students from schools outside of Wewak returning the same afternoon and on Saturday.”

Similarly, Wewak General Hospital had also denied reports that it was shut early this week.
