Research first before asking

I REFER to KB Kevin who was responding to my letter (March 4).

He asked how the K6 billion loan from Exim Bank of China was going to be settled.

He asked who was going to repay the loan, where the money was going to be sourced from and the repayment period.

Before the writer posed these questions, he should have researched on the loan processes.

Loans are generally disbursed upon satisfactorily fulfilling the lending criteria or conditions set out by the banks, be it China’s Exim Bank, commercial banks in PNG, finance companies, etc.

They do not disburse loans unnecessarily.

If these questions could not be answered, the bank would not have approved and released the loan.

The writer mentioned the next generation would end up be paying off such loans.

Of course, the consequences of our actions either benefit or affect our next generation.

Poor management of our abundant resources

by our leaders at various levels have colluded to pushing the future of our children right to the edge.

Our greedy leaders have put our children’s future at high risk.

Therefore, our prime minister  has to use appropriate corrective measures to bail this country, including securing the future of our children.

Through his impact-oriented policies, our

children and us are guaranteed a brighter future.

The resources that you boast about have been here and being exploited continuously by the foreigners.

Without a good manager those resources would mean nothing.
