Resettle Manam islanders

NOTHING has been done to improve our situation in Manam.
We did not ask for the volcano on our island to erupt.
How can we be ignored for so long?
Our people struggle to survive in care centres, continuously under threat and abuse.
We struggle to feed ourselves, a generation is missing out on education and many people do not even have homes.
Can’t the government hear the cries of Manam islanders and do something to permanently settle us somewhere so we can start our lives again without fear or doubt?
