OVER a hundred residents of a suburb in Port Moresby have graduated with life skills certificates offered by Ginigoada Foundation on Thursday.
The 123 residents of Hohola graduated with certificates in literacy, after undergoing a month long skills training workshop at Hohola 5.
Ginigoada Foundation training manager Francis So said the workshop was the key to their future.
He said the programme was a sponsorship package from Ausaid.
So said with the backing of Ginigoada Foundation, some of the participants were eligible to pursue further skills training with vocational centres in Port Moresby.
He said others would use the training to help themselves in the informal sector. The participants were assisted by Ginigoada Foundation trainers Carol Otuna, Doris Enoch and Moses Kandawa.
