Respect elder leaders in communities

Letters

MY dear Prime Minister James Marape, God appointed you as the eighth prime minister of Papua New Guinea.
The previous seven prime ministers did their part to contribute in building PNG, however, our living standards have not improved over the last 44 years.
Marape, you were appointed to take back PNG from bondages and suffering.
We, as Christians, will continue to pray for you to lead the people of this country as a great leader with wisdom.
I also thank God for our other leaders such as National Capital District Governor Powes Parkop and Moresby North-East MP John Kaupa.
Under your leadership we have seen a lot of changes in our lives, especially those in settlements.
Parkop, since elected as governor, has transformed Port Moresby into a modern city.
He has made many good decisions which led to improvements in people’s lives.
He is still doing that.
My advice to you leaders of today is to respect other leaders in our communities.
Leadership is from God and anybody who disrespects leaders disrespects God.
Marape is a leader who has a lot of respect for elder leaders.
Young leaders should do what he is doing.
Never use your positions to help yourselves and your friends.
Run this country the way God wants you to run it and He will continue to impart wisdom in you.
