Respect journalists

Letters

LET me get this straight to you all the government workers and those who are working for various politicians.
It is not easy to keep this country informed of what is happening.
We as journalists risk our lives to get news.
Sometimes we don’t eat well, sometimes the pay is not good.
Yet we are on the job working hard to keep you informed.
If you are not happy about our work, there are protocols to follow.
I feel for all those journalists around the country who are giving their best yet are being treated unfairly.
If it was not for journalists, this country will stay uninformed. That means if the government is corrupt, the people will never be aware of it.
Please Papua New Guineans. have some respect for journalists.
