FONE Haus general manager Damian Ames says his company remains committed to providing new phones and products to the PNG market.
Brand ambassador and rugby league legend Johnathan Thurston visited its branches and charity partners in Port Moresby this week.
Thurston said he was pleased to be in the country and supporting a company that had similar values that he stood for.
In his visit to the Life PNG Care on Tuesday, he presented children, mostly orphans, stationery and basic items.

“I want to thank Fone Haus, I am an ambassador for Fone Haus, and when I am an ambassador for companies that they get aligned with the same values and principles of myself and the way that Fone Haus supports your organisation, that’s why I jumped at the chances,” Thurston said.
“I have been here since last Sunday and I visited some communities and did all the store visits over the last couple of days.”
He said being famous came with a lot of responsibilities and he knew he had a huge impact and influence in the community and wanted to spread positive message.

“That is what I am passionate about, I do that back in Australia, and that is what I love doing.”
Ames said phone sales continued to increase at Fone Haus every month due to new phones from Samsung, Motorola, iPhone and Mintt that were arriving every week.
“This include the Samsung S22 new models, Motorola E7 and new Mintt phones,” he said.
“Fone Haus has some super exciting promotions in May with our most popular phones reduced in price.”
