FOUR Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary band retirees witnessed the opening and handing over of the new police band hall, instruments and uniform at the Kila Police Barracks in Port Moresby on Monday by DataCo.
Sr Sgt Alatina Geno said he had seen many changes since 1967 when he joined the band.
“The building and new facilities will boost the morale and performance of band members,” he said.
“It will also encourage the younger members of the band to be passionate about music.
“Music is the best.
“Music can take you around the world just like me.”
