MEMBERS of the Revival Centre in the North-West electorate of Port Moresby did a major clean-up at Morata over the Easter weekend.
Port Moresby North-West electorate church assistant pastor Chris Sioni said the cleanup is in preparation for the opening of a new sub-centre church at Morata 2.
He said their members have only one sub-centre at Baruni that contains the huge congregation in this electorate.
“The sub-cenre is where we go for fellowship on Sundays and the one at Morata will be the second sub-centre we will have,” Sioni said.
“The clean-up on the streets of North Waigani, Morata 1 and 2, and back road Wildlife towards Morata is to encourage people to live a clean, healthy and godly lifestyle.
“It is Easter and most of the people are attending church services but we should not only praise and worship God only on Easter and Sundays, God is forever grateful to us and we should everyday give him the same praise and worship we give on Sundays and for us to do this we must believe in God, baptize and be filled with the Holy Spirit,” Sioni said.
