RIMBUNAN Hijau’s Hypermart at Hohola has expanded to cater for the growing needs of customers in and around the Hohola suburb, the store manager said.
From hardware, stationery and clothing needs to grocery items, RH Hypermart at Hohola is convenient for all shopping needs, RH Hypermart Hohola manager Rodel Boie Rodriguez said.
The recent expansion of the store in September and October has catered for this wide range of goods.
“There was a need for expansion to conveniently serve our customers in and around Hohola,” Mr Rodriguez said.
He explained that the store used to be crowded and the aisles were too narrow, but with the expansion, it is now spacious and customers could conveniently move around while shopping.
Adding on to Mr Rodriguez’s assurance of improved space and wide variety of goods, operations senior supervisor Betty Ephraim said: “This is your one-stop shop and where your kina buys more.”
She said along with the expansion, customer service had also improved due to their regular in-house training to improve customer service and supervisory skills for the staff and supervisors, respectively.
Busy days for the stores are Thursdays to Sundays and afternoons when customers pop in to grab breakfast or dinner before they head home.
Mr Rodriguez could not disclose the cost of expansion but said he was positive that with the expansion and the convenient location, the hypermart could serve its customers to their expectations.
Some customers were asked for comments on the arrangements and responded that it “is now more spacious” and “there is a wide range of goods in store for all types of customers”.
“The store is closer to bus stop, market and recreational areas and the price compared to other stores is reasonable.”
Mr Rodriguez said the expansion is timely before the  Christmas shopping rush.
