Rigo rugby league to hold AGM

THE 3-Suns Rigo Rugby League in Central Province will be holding their annual general meeting (AGM) at Kwikila station, Central province on Jan 21.
The meeting will see the election of new office bearers and other important issues concerning the administration of the game.
Rigo Rugby League president Gwaibo Mairi has given a 14-day notice to the 20 clubs to send their representatives for the meeting.
During the meeting, respective club presidents would table their annual report, including their financial statements.
He said major sponsors, 3-Suns Limited, would be also announcing their sponsorship for the competition this season.
Mairi said the competition had been growing from strength-to-strength every year and it was another successful season last year.
Mairi, the man behind the resurgence of Rigo league in the recent years, was optimistic that this year’s competition would be even bigger and better than previous years.
