Road cut off by flooding

 FLOODING has cut off the road  from the Buang local level government in the Bulolo district, Morobe, at the Munanyun village.

Heavy rain in the past month caused flooding in the area. 

Vehicles were forced to drop off passengers at the Buang road junction connecting to the main Bulolo highway at Mumeng, 

A Bulolo resident said passengers had to walk 3km to Munanyun village to catch public transport. 

Four-wheel-drives can access the back road from Gabensis village in the Huon district. 

Mamose regional works manager Brian Alois said the road was not a government one and that he was unaware of the problem.
