Road full of potholes

Letters

Works Secretary David Wereh must not say potholes are a thing of the past when responding to queries raised by our Kairuku Hiri MP Peter Isoaimo (The National, Aug 21).
He should know that Hiritano Highway is also used by the people of Gulf and Goilala.
He does not know the condition of this highway because he has never used it.
Does Wereh know about the quality of work put out by the contractors who worked on the highway?
The end result is now potholes after potholes.
That stretch of road outside Port Moresby, from 9-Mile to Martin River, needs to be sealed because it is a national highway.
We expect a response that will help and benefit us.
